Your data is yours. We collect only what we need. We never sell it. We never share it without your consent. We protect it.
What we collect
- Name, first name or whatever you go by
- Email address, to send you the Ground Report
- Country of origin, to understand where voices come from
- Country you currently call home, to understand where people are experiencing the issues
- Whether you identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, optional, never shared individually, used only to ensure First Nations voices are specifically represented in the Ground Report
- Whether you have lived experience in a remote or regional community, optional, same protections
What we do with it
- Send you the Ground Report when it is published
- Include your submission, anonymised or attributed as you choose, in the synthesis
What we never do
- Sell your data to anyone, ever
- Share your personal information with anyone. Ever.
- Use your email for anything except Ground Report delivery and essential platform communications
- Identify individual First Nations respondents in any published document
- Use your data for advertising of any kind
Your rights
- Access your data at any time
- Correct it
- Delete it
- Withdraw your submission before a Ground Report is finalised
A note on sensitive information
The identity fields, Indigenous status and remote community experience, are sensitive information under the Australian Privacy Act 1988. They are entirely optional, collected with explicit consent, used only to weight and represent those voices appropriately in the Ground Report, and never published or shared at an individual level.

Secure, encrypted, hosted in Australia. Compliant with the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
